Every Waveski comes with a 10.5 inch “standard center fin box”.  The same box that is used in longboard surfboards.  Your center fin is adjustable forward or back in the box.  If you want a “looser” tail move your center fin all the way forward in the box.  This will make the back end of the ski slide out easier on the turn.  If your tail is sliding too much, back the center fin up in 1/2 inch increments.  The fin being all the way back in the box will “tighten up” the tail, good for more down the line surfing.  We recommend installing the fin just forward of center and adjusting from there.  We like to use 3 1/2 or 4 inch center fin and have it set up to feel like the tail is about to slide out.
